Terms and Conditions
The terms & conditions set forth are effective as of
March 23, 2011.
ATTENTION: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS
AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING ITEMS FROM THIS WEBSITE. PURCHASING
ITEMS FROM THIS WEBSITE INDICATES THAT YOU ACCEPT THESE TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND
THE RETURN POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, DO NOT
PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE.
A
business day does not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
If
there are situations beyond our control resulting in the delay of merchandise
delivery, such as: natural disasters, weather condition delays, manufacturer
stock shortages, driver strikes, and other unexpected errors at UPS/USPS as the
third party, TCW Designs cannot be held liable for such delays. We expedite all
of our customer's orders to be shipped and delivered to your door as quickly
and efficiently as possible.
Return Policy:
There are NO REFUNDS OR
RETURNS.
Custom Printed Cards:
If a proof is involved in your
order, it is in your best interest to review the proof very carefully for any
misspelled words or errors in the proof. One FREE proof is provided for each
printed order (any additional proofs will be charged $5 per proof). Your order will not be printed until we
receive a final approval from you. TCW Designs is not liable for any
misspelled words or errors once your order has been approved. You will be responsible for any additional charges
for reproduction once you approve your proof.
TCW Designs will not
print your order, or charge your credit card until after we receive your
approval on the emailed PROOF.
Product
images on our web-site are representations of the actual product. Due to the
various types of monitors, settings and resolutions available, each image
representation is portrayed more or less to the actual product
We are not responsible
for any errors found after you approve your proof. If the product you
receive has a printing error that was on the proof but not caught when you
approved your proof, we offer a 20% discount on any order that needs to be
reprinted.
If you receive your printed order and it has a
printing error that was caused by our printing process, we will happily replace
your order at no charge. Your
replacement order will be shipped to you using the same method as your original
order. As long as the card design is in stock, your order usually prints
and ships within one business day. You can upgrade the shipping at an
additional cost.
No refunds will be given on orders once they are printed and/or
shipped.
Blank Stock Cards:
It is in your best interest to check
with your printer manual and contact the printer manufacturer to ensure that
your printer can print specific card stocks. We do
not suggest you order blank stock cards if you are not experienced with your
computer and printing programs. TCW Designs cannot be held liable for
technical malfunctions that may arise by various printer brands in the market. We provide generic printing instructions.

There
are NO refunds or returns of blank stock cards for any reason.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of your
order will depend upon where your order is in the production process at the
time of your request.
Your order may be
cancelled with no fee charged as long as your order process has not started and
no work has been done to it.
If your order has
started to be worked on, but has not been printed, you may cancel your order
but will be charged a $15 cancellation
fee. Please email us immediately
to prevent your order from being processed and/or printed.
Orders that have been printed and / or shipped cannot be
cancelled.
Shipping Policy
All orders are shipped
via USPS, with the exception of, Paper So Pretty (PSP) products.
PSP products are shipped
via UPS, directly from the manufacturer.
TCW Designs does not
take responsibility for any delays in delivery due to the shipping company.
The shipping time is calculated from the day
your order is shipped, not the day you place your order.
USPS shipments:
US
Priority mail is estimated to take 1-3
business days once it is shipped. It is available for deliveries within the United States.
Signature confirmation is available for all orders at an additional charge. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or
damaged packages if you do not choose this option.
US Express mail is guaranteed in 1-2 business days from the time
it is shipped. There is no Sunday
and/or holiday delivery. US Express rates
are determined by quantity and weight.
Global Express mail is the only USPS shipping method we offer for
our international orders. Global express takes an
estimated 3-5 business day delivery once it is shipped. There may be a signature required upon
receipt. Please check with your
local postal service for more information. The global express shipping rate given at
checkout is an estimated fee. If your shipping fee is different the one stated on the order
form, we will email you a revised bill and wait for your approval before
processing your order. TCW Designs is not
responsible for any duties, taxes, or any other fees associated with shipping
an international order. We will not claim a
package as being a gift to save you custom charges. You may contact us before placing your
order to get a more accurate shipping fee.
TCW
Designs cannot be held responsible for delayed, lost or mis-routed
international mail.
PLEASE NOTE: Custom duties and taxes are the sole responsibility of the
recipient, even if the item is being shipped to someone other than the
purchaser. TCW Designs is required by
Federal law to fill out a Customs Declaration with ALL International packages
we ship. We will not declare shipments
as “GIFTS” or declare the value below the purchased price. We will not be held responsible for items not
delivered due to failure of the recipient to pay the necessary duties and
taxes.
UPS shipments:
All UPS shipments are shipped from Texas. No weekend
deliveries are available.
UPS Ground is an estimated 1-5 business day delivery.
UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day are
also available.
Privacy Policy:
Your
privacy is very important to us! TCW
Designs is committed to protecting your privacy and to protecting the
confidential nature of all information we collect from our customers. It is necessary for us to collect personal
information in order to process and ship your order. The information you provide to us is kept
confidential and is used only to create your order, process and fill your
order, and ship your order to you.
We absolutely DO NOT provide or sell your information to any
outside agency, person, or company for any reason!
Our website is encrypted using the highest possible technology and is
processed through a secured server. All
personal information and credit card information is kept absolutely
confidential and is used strictly to process your order.
How can you make sure our
site is secure??
Add
a product to your cart, and click on the checkout button. When you are in the first page of checkout,
look in the bottom right of your browser.
There should be a little locked padlock there. Also, if you look at our URL address and
notce that it starts with “https:// instead of http://.
The “s” stands for “secure”.
Address Corrections:
We are not responsible
for incorrect addresses. The customer is responsible. It is your responsibility
to give us a complete and correct address. If an address correction is
necessary, you will be charged $10 for the correction for each package. The
shipping services charge for all address corrections, such as but is not
limited to suite or apartment numbers, street directions (N, W, E, S), etc. Any
changes that must be made to the ship-to address will incur a charge, so please
make sure that you give us the correct address. The card on file will be
charged.
Important: Once we give your order to the shipper is
becomes your property and transfer of responsibility goes to you. You should
provide a shipping address where there is someone to receive the package. We can't
control the shipping companies and we are not employed by them. If a driver
thinks that it is safe to leave a package without a signature of the customer,
then they will. So if you don't want to assume the responsibility of stolen
packages, etc., please provide an address where there is someone to receive the
package, such as work, or a neighbor etc.
Fonts:
We have many fonts to choose from.
You can view our fonts at any time by clicking on the font button
located on each product detail page. The
size of the font will be adjusted according to the space available on the card
you have selected and the amount of wording you have requested. Unless specifically mentioned at the time of
the order, we will use our artistic judgment for the font size, boldness,
spacing, centering, line layout, capitalization, arrangement or punctuation
used on the printing of your card.
Please choose your font carefully.
Some letters may look unusual with certain cursive or decorative fonts. We suggest you view the entire character set
of a font to make sure all the characters will work with your wording.
Other
Languages:
We can print foreign languages provided they use English characters. You must provide typewritten wording (and
accents, if applicable) via e-mail, foax or mail if it is not in English. There is no additional charge for this
service. If you would like part of your
order printed in English, you must order the minimum quantity for each
language.
Claims:
All
claims for shortages, damages or lost goods must be reported to TCW
Designs within five (5) days of the delivery date via the online claim
form. Replacements for defective/damaged
merchandise will be shipped via the original carrier method.
**Ordering Tips:
Order Confirmation:
You will receive an
order confirmation email immediately after you place your order. This is
not your PROOF (if you ordered printed cards, you will receive a proof within 2
business days). Please review your order and all the text for any
errors that may have been entered while placing your order. Please reply
to the order confirmation email immediately, with your changes and or
corrections. We will try to update your order before it is worked on.
Printing on our cards:
Before printing on our
blank stock cards, cut blank white paper the same dimensions as the card you
received to practice printing the text. This will help you perfect you
wording, layout and printer settings, without wasting any cards. We also
suggest that you order a couple extra cards, as we cannot provide templates for
the cards. Click
